Today marked a significant rain event never seen in the Town of Coventry since the 1950's. The National Weather Service is calling this flood a "Five-Hundred Year Flood".

Several areas in Coventry have been significantly flooded with several homes and business' having basement flooding. Fire, Police and Public Works crews will be out for at least the next 2-3 days addressing the needs of the community.
