Friday, April 3, 2009 13:45 - Rescue 3 and Engine 4 were dispatched to 11 Industrial Drive at 1:45 PM, Friday, April 3rd. for a reported industrial accident. Apparatus arrived on scene to find a male patient that had cut off the tip of his finger while working with a drill press. The patient was conscious and alert. The patient met rescue personnel at the front door of the facility. Lieutenant Matt Medeiros and Paramedic Mike DeCesare treated the patient and transported him to the Trauma Center at Rhode Island Hospital.
