Engine 4 responded to the area of 26 Trafford Park Drive for a reported brush fire in the woods. The fire was located approximately 900 feet in the woods behind 26 Trafford Park Drive. The alarm came in at 12:30 am this morning. When Engine 4 arrived, Captain James Cady determined that additional crews would be needed to stretch forestry hose to the fire as well as assist with the extinguishment. Central Coventry Engine 3 was dispatched along with Anthony FD Engine 2. The fire was extinguished in about 1 hour and the apparatus returned in service at 2:00 am. The fire is believed to have been started by youths that may have been congregating around the Tiogue Elementary School.
